Based on the already feature-packed E65S platform, the E65S GbW adds new technologies with Grind-by-Weight and Disc Distance Detection to improve both dosing and grind setting accuracy. Grind-by-Weight allows the addition of a high-precision load cell that can be adjusted to 0.1 gram settings, moving away from the grind-time automatic dosing of grinders of the past. This means better dose accuracy as you move away from relying on perfect and unchanging environmental conditions to keep your dose on its set; so you no longer have to worry about temperature changes in the grinder, fluctuations in grind fineness, or resetting your dose timer.
